Catharsis Arts Collective is a production company and incubator for artist-led performing arts projects, dedicated to empowering artists and amplifying their voices. We believe in the transformative power of art as a catalyst for social and political change, and we work to create opportunities for meaningful expression and impact.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

CAC founder Melaina Mills is a New York City-based singer, actor, and producer with a passion for storytelling through song. In 2025, she founded Catharsis Arts Collective, a company dedicated to amplifying artists’ voices and making self-production more accessible. Melaina's commitment to supporting fellow artists is reflected in her work both on stage and behind the scenes, from production management to fundraising.
As we all know, the Trump Administration has been systematically cutting funding for the arts. Many organizations are reeling from these sudden cuts and are forced to rely heavily on donations. At CAC we are applying to receive funding from grants and any federal initiatives that are still standing, but donations from you - our friends, family, and supporters - will make an immediate and lasting impact.
